I know I'm slow to get around to this but I have been putting in work.

I've added some more to Apprentice Rising, and a little bit more to Halves of a Coin. I know the first half of Apprentice Rising has been up for a while, but I thought I'd describe the setting more. Phantom is from Ariant, the only town in the vast, arid Nihal Desert. If you travel west across the desert, you reach the Minar Forest. The town of Leafre is located in the Minar Forest as well, and if you continue traveling west you reach a more mountainous region that is still generally considered part of the Minar Forest, though there's fewer trees. The Minar Forest is a lush region, bursting with life, though it's not tropical. Perhaps it would qualify as subtropical. There aren't many humans living there. The town of Leafre is occupied by Halfingers, and there's another nearby region that's home to demons.

Both the Minar Forest and Nihal Desert are in a continent called Ossyria. The El Nath Mountains that Luminous catches sight of are also in Ossyria, and they're to the north and northeast part of the continent. The El Nath Mountains are icy, with snowstorms and steep ravines and tucked away little villages. The fairy city of Orbis floats above the El Nath Mountains.
