No Longer Faceless!

I finally got around to drawing a picture of Lotem. The drawing's done in colored pencil. It's not great. The color's not quite right, but I did the best I could (his hair is supposed to be a light silvery gold, not greyish). Whaddaya think?

OK, I know he isn't particularly masculine looking. But he's not supposed to be! He's an 8 year old boy who's been beaten and abused. He's not going to be super-machismo or something. I hope you can tell from the image, but he's more than just half-starved. More like 7/8 starved. Never had a decent meal in his life. I dunno if it shows up in the picture, but you can kinda see his ribs if you look close, and his cheekbones too cuz he's got no fat on him at all.

In case anyone is wondering, he is NOT wearing a dress. That's a rough, brown cloth flung over one shoulder and belted with a length of rope. And the thing in his hand is one of the orange scarves.

I'm going to attempt to use the computer to edit the picture so I have a better version, but for now this's all I got.
