Welcome to Baker Street
As you might have noticed from the new background on the homepage, there's a new story.
221B... any guesses?
Yup! It's Sherlock Holmes and John Watson. The Great Game is going to be a much shorter story than the others. It's about Sherlock and Moriarty in their great quest to defeat each other... but isn't that every Holmes story that Moriarty shows up in? Well, THIS Moriarty and Holmes match is going to be QUITE different... you'll see as soon as I finish the ending. I know exactly what I'm going to do, I just have to write it.
I'm going to write a second Holmes story later. Once I finish this one.
BY THE WAY. Big thing to note here. The Great Game is NOT, repeat NOT, a story for hardcore purist lovers of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle's original stories. I've never read them, and this is FAR from Doyle's original Moriarty, Holmes and Watson... I will admit that mine is not the same as but is heavily influenced by BBC's show Sherlock (great show by the way, I totally recommend it) with Benedict Cumberbatch as the titular character and Martin Freeman as his partner-in-crime. Usually crime solving, but admitedly sometimes the duo are literally partners in crime. ANYWAYS. My point is, to those who have read and absolutely adore the original Sherlock Holmes stories, this probably isn't the story for you.
The second story will be completely independent of the first. NOT the same universe.
ANOTHER IMPORTANT DISCLAIMER. The Great Game has some language. No way to avoid it, unfortunately. Sherlock Holmes and John Watson are used to being attacked, shot at, threatened, you name it. They use stronger language than 'dang', 'darn', and 'crud'. I try to keep it as mild as possible, but it can't be left out entirely. So if strong language offends you, don't read my Sherlock Holmes story.
I have also added some (not as much as I would like) to the Master Thief and Heir to the Throne stories. Unfortunately, since writing is my hobby not my job, it has to take back burner when other things get busy. I will continue to work on the stories when I can.
Thanks for being patient with me!
