Gone with the desert wind
Raven's left Ariant, (but at least there's not some big, soppy, sappy show like in the movie I referenced. Sorry, but I don't like that movie at all), but don't forget about Raven. He made a big impression on Lotem, because after all, he's the strangest person Lotem's ever seen. Someone else who's not ethnically the same as the other people in Ariant. And he's also the first outsider to come to Ariant in Lotem's memory. Which isn't actually that long, since Lotem's a 8 year old. The next stranger's going to be a lot more than just ethnically different- you'll know her when you meet her!
Oh, I don't want to forget to mention that not all that text fits on one page, so there's page one and page two of the Spirit From the Sands story. It's still the same part of the story, part 1, but I just don't have enough room on one page. Page 2 picks up partway through chapter 3.
Sorry I haven't worked more on the other stories. I haven't had as much inspiration for them. I've sort of got a vague idea for Temple Team (I really don't like that name. I need to change it) but I don't even have an outline yet, so don't expect anything soon. But I can tell you a few names of some of the characters that will be in it- Scarlett Fox, Barry Bones, Guy Dangerous, Karma Lee. Sound familiar? ;)
Luminous, Luminous... what am I going to do with him? Hopefully finish the sparring match soon. He's going to get to travel abroad, I just have to think up a decent excuse to make him travel. I mean, I know why I want him to travel, but I need to come up with a reason for the characters to leave Harmony for a bit (remember, Harmony's the name of the place where the organization Aurora makes its headquarters).
I know the picture of Raven in the last blog entry's a poor one, because I wasn't able to use a scanner. I took a picture of the drawing, and that never comes out particularly good quality, so I'm going to draw another picture of Raven. I've started working on it, but I may not finish it soon.
